I got this to do a better apples-to-apples comparison between the BLF GT and the Astrolux MF04. And also between the BLF GT70 and the Astrolux MF04s. This way both lights are driven by the same number of 18650 batteries. You can't go wrong with either of these lights if you are looking for an extreme thrower. They are kind of heavy, but it would be tough to get a flashlight with a farther beam distance for a "reasonable" price.
